36 Weeks - Only 4 left! (Hopefully!)

I was lucky enough to get an ultrasound this morning and saw Cooper's facial features for the first time. I was bawling! It was truly magical!

Here are the latest photos. We're 12 weeks along and just praying things remain smooth and steady.

Showing Off

Little guy was showing off for the doctor today, saying, "Yes, I have arms and legs and look! I can move them!"

Today was our 10 week ultrasound. We heard the heart beat and she took lots of pics and videos. Here are two of the four videos of baby Ryan.

Ultrasound #2

I confirmed that the little guy is still in there. I haven't had many side effects yet which got me a little nervous as to whether he was still in there or not. I went for the 2nd U/S today and saw his little heart beating. We'll get to listen to it at our next appointment. Hopefully you can actually see him in this photo. The last photo was a little harder to see. He is about .8cm at this point AND I've only gained .5lb since my last appointment. YAY!

First Ultrasound

Ok - I can't lie - this was kind of anti-climatic. After months of ultrasounds looking at follicles, I somehow thought this would be different. Not really. You can't really see anything.

So I'm still very tired and hungry. Today is the first day that I've felt a little nauseous (specifically when I looked at the salad I was about to eat). I worked through it and ate my lunch like a trooper :) A bowl of pasta would have tasted better though!

Mom & Dad Getting the BIG news

I was able to some some video of Mom & Dad's reaction to telling them that I was finally pregnant. Unfortunately, it's mostly just audio.

5 Weeks!

The silence is killing me! Only a handful of people know that I'm pregnant and yet I just want to shout it to the world! Technically, the fetal age is only 3 weeks (i.e. super tiny and VERY new). But according to the docs and websites, it says I'm 5 weeks and 2 days. We go for our first ultrasound on Monday, May 24th! So excited for the peace of mind. No symptoms yet except for some minor bloating last weekend. I had to take another pregnancy test this week just to be sure I was pregnant - even after two blood tests.
